Israeli police detain protesters during a demonstration in Tel Aviv, against the killing of Jawaher Abu Rahma, a 36-year-old Palestinian woman who died overnight after being teargassed by Israeli troops at a West Bank protest. Abu Rahma died in hospital after collapsing on December 31, 2010 during a protest against the Israeli separation barrier in Bilin, according to hospital staff.
